Recommended Duration: 15 days

Itinerary: Ahmedabad – Vadodara – Palitana – Junagadh – Gondal – Bhuj – Kutch – Bajana – Ahmedabad

Ideal Time to Visit: October – March

Gujarat, the westernmost state of India, is a melting pot of cultures and traditions, woven together by colourful stories. Beginning in Ahmedabad, a city that is as cultural as it is political, the path winds towards Vadodara, with its palaces and gardens, before reaching the sacred heights of Palitana, where Jain temples rise like prayers etched in stone. The journey continues through Junagadh’s fortresses and temples that inspire wonder, through the princely town of Gondal, until it touches the arid beauty of Bhuj and the surreal white desert of Kutch. From Bajana, a land where wildlife roams free, the route loops back, ending in Ahmedabad.

This is Gujarat—a vast canvas of craftsmanship, spiritual devotion, and rugged landscapes. The towns and cities reveal stories of empires, dynasties, and communities that have thrived amidst its sunbaked plains and fertile deltas. From the salt marshes of Kutch to the sacred hills of Palitana, Gujarat is a place where contrasts meet—where tradition dances with modernity, where the silence of temples meets the vibrant energy of bustling bazaars. The journey through this state is more than a geographical passage; it is a discovery of textures, flavours, and histories, held together by an ever-present spirit of resilience and creativity.
